Find out moreThere are times when we feel lost, stuck, alone, hurt, sad, afraid, frustrated or angry. Through therapy you can be heard and understood, with space to work with whatever you are facing. My Therapy provides a safe space to heal pain and distress, explore possibilities, achieve clarity and enhance emotional and physical wellbeing.
I work in a compassionate, caring, non-judgemental, ethical and professional way.
I am a Chartered Psychologist who has worked, researched and specialised in psychology, psychotherapy and counselling since 1996, working collaboratively with clients using an integrative approach that draws on Mindfulness and Compassion-Based Approaches, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Systemic, Person-Centred and Narrative Therapy, with adults and couples, online and face-to-face.

There are times in our lives when we can feel overwhelmed, stuck, lost, alone, hurt, frustrated, stressed, anxious or depressed. Seeking therapy to talk issues through, gain clarity and understanding, be heard and supported, really makes a difference and can help you resolve issues and make the changes you need to.
After your initial session, I will discuss my understanding of the problems and issues with you. We will agree a therapy plan with clear objectives and a view of the possible outcomes. If you have any questions at any point, you will be answered fully, and I am happy to signpost you to other treatments where I am unable to provide them.
All sessions are treated confidentially, with reasonable steps taken to protect your privacy. Information is not revealed without your permission except where disclosure is required by law. I adhere to the Code of Conduct, Ethics and Guidelines of Good Practice of the British Psychological Society and am regulated by the Health Care Professions Council.
A Chartered Counselling Psychologist is registered with the British Psychological Society and regulated by the Health Care Professions Council (registration number PYL 22722), trained to Doctoral level, working collaboratively with clients to provide effective treatment and empower positive life changes.
Look for clarity about qualifications and experience, full registration with recognised professional bodies, professional liability insurance, adherence to ethical codes, regular clinical supervision and CPD, enhanced DBS certification, and their own personal therapy. A mindfulness or meditation teacher should also have extensive formal training, an ongoing personal practice with a community of peers, regular CPD and retreats, and enhanced DBS certification.
If you have any questions about therapy, meditation or mindfulness practice, please get in touch.
